Free Cyber Safety Training
Would you like to learn more about keeping safe on the internet? Do you have a family member or care for someone with a disability, and have concerns about their online safety?
Interaction is offering free 60-minute Cyber Safety Training sessions run by ySafe tailored to people with disability, their families and carers, as well as those employed in the disability sector.
Participant Sessions
Topics covered include online stranger danger, protecting personal information, cyberbullying, nudes and the law, and online wellbeing and screen time. This program explores relationships with technology, and upskills participants in understanding the importance of and ways to implement safe online practices.

Family/Staff/Carer Session
This session will provide you with the tools to handle issues that arise for the person you care for. Topics include understanding online behaviours, mandatory reporting requirements, predator activity, how to spot a fake identity, new risks during COVID, warning signs of online problems and how to manage disappearing content such as Snapchat.
