Vacancies Available – Drop-in Support Accommodation

Posted: October 8, 2019

What is Drop-in Supported Accommodation?

At Interaction, we provide three levels of supported accommodation, including:

  • Drop-in Supported Accommodation (also known as supported accommodation services)
  • 24 Hour Support, and
  • 24 Hour Intensive Support.

Like other accommodation support services, Drop-in Supported Accommodation can be funded through your NDIS plan. Read on to find out more about Drop-in Support, and our current accommodation vacancies.

Who can apply for Drop-in Supported Accommodation?

Drop-in Supported Accommodation is a great option for those who need, or prefer, a bit of extra support in their everyday living. It is designed to support individuals who live independently and require a level of assistance with informed decision making.

Drop-in supports include:

  • Practical support for everyday living needs such as shopping, budgeting and attending appointments
  • Skills development that increases confidence and allows you to transition into independent living
  • General health and well-being

Interaction can provide flexible drop-in support that fits your specific needs.

Whether you’re living in your own home, or part of an Interaction group home, drop in support is available for you. Interaction is empowering people with disability to live more independently.

  • Do you need (or would you like) a bit of extra help to keep on top of everything?
  • Perhaps you want to be more involved with regular everyday activities, but find it difficult and too time consuming to get yourself out of the house.
  • Maybe you’re at the stage where you want to move out of the family home, but are a little hesitant because you feel like all the responsibilities that come with moving out are a little more than you can handle straight away, yet you want the independence

The aim of Interaction’s drop-in supported accommodation is to provide practical assistance – supporting your goals for where and how you wish to live. Drop-in support has been designed for people with a disability who require low to moderate levels of support, and who require a level of assistance with informed decision making.
