Interaction Welcomes New Chairperson
Interaction Disability Services is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Chairperson to the Board of Directors, Pauline Vamos. John Lucas, who has served as Chairperson for the past 15 years, will continue on the Board in the role of Director.
Bringing a wealth of experience gained from over 25 years in the financial services industry, Pauline was appointed to the Interaction board in 2016. A qualified lawyer who previously held the position of CEO of the Association of Super Funds of Australia, Pauline’s expertise in governance and advocacy is a valuable asset to Interaction.
Pauline has been highly respected throughout her career and in her time on the Interaction Board. As a Director who embodies the values of Interaction, Pauline’s leadership will be invaluable to the future of Interaction as we continue to strive for the best for our participants and their families.
During his tenure as Interaction Chairperson, John has brought great stability to the organisation. A man of integrity and honesty, John applied his 45 years of experience as a school principal to provide calm and patient leadership and governance to the Board and staff of Interaction.
‘John has always been a wonderful sounding board, providing insightful feedback and always ensuring our management team have been given both the support and space needed to help grow Interaction as an organisation,’ said CEO Craig Moore. ‘His commitment to empowering participants and supporting their families and our staff has added great value to interaction.’
