About the Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Service Manager to oversee a team of Accommodation Managers responsible for providing 24/7 and drop-in support services. The role ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services that promote recovery and independence for participants, in alignment with the organisation’s strategic plan, policies, and procedures.
Key responsibilities include driving growth, ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, supporting your team, fostering a safe and therapeutic workplace, and contributing to the achievement of organisational goals.
About You
Key Responsibilities
Minimum five years’ experience in residential disability services and/or mental health services.
Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and develop teams in complex environments.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, recovery models, and positive behaviour support.
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, intellectual disabilities, and high-support requirements.
Experience in managing services for individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome, or willingness to upskill.
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently within organisational policies and procedures.
Demonstrated ability in incident management, WHS hazard management, and restrictive practice oversight.
Commitment to professional development.
Understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control in a residential setting.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and willingness to maintain during employment.
Valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel between sites if required.
Well-developed IT skills, including Microsoft Office and client management systems.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain professional and accurate records.
Candidate Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, mental health, or disability studies and/or;
Relevant tertiary qualifications in leadership and/or;
Equivalent experience and expertise attained through service and/or study to perform at this level.
Ensures compliance with NDIS, disability standards and mental health.
Develops and implements service models that address the specific needs of individuals with Disability, mental health and a key focus on Prader-Willi Syndrome.
