Summary

We are seeking a full-time supportive, caring, reliable, highly motivated, and energetic individual who has previously worked within person-centred approach and is driven to empower people with disability in the areas of enablement and independence.

About You

You will thrive in what can sometimes be a challenging environment:

  • Experience in supporting people with Intellectual Disability with relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a team as well as autonomously.
  • Manage challenges in a support environment, ensuring consistent delivery of service.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders including other service providers, family members, advocates, and government agencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must in maintaining reports and case notes.
  • Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain prior to commencement of employment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • A comprehensively insured and registered vehicle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities.
