About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers for multiple permanent positions within our accommodation division across Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic, honest, reliable, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

About You

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with personal care tasks such as grooming and toileting.
  • Demonstrate resilience with the ability to deescalate episodes of challenging behaviour.
  • Rosters are available to work across various shifts, including split shifts, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers, and active wake shifts.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and work autonomously when required.
  • Maintain accurate records and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience supporting individuals living with disabilities.
  • Resilience in managing challenging behaviours.
  • Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Willingness to assist with personal care as needed.
  • Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • At least two doses of COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in sector highly regarded or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates, or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • A comprehensively insured and registered vehicle.
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
