Supporting You During COVID-19

Direct Support services available during coronavirus.

Direct Support Services are running as usual during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) lock down while supporting our participants to follow social distancing rules.

We are also offering extra supports during this time. Our Support Workers are available to complete shopping and errands on behalf of participants. You can also check-in with your Support Workers via Zoom or phone calls if you are currently self-isolating.

For further details, please get in touch with your Direct Support Coordinator; Giovanni, Lam or Natasha to discuss any of these options via their email or by calling 1300 668 123.

Great news on NDIS plan extensions

The NDIA has made some changes to the plan review process in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

To ensure participant plans don’t end, on the day a plan is due to expire, it will automatically be extended by 365 days. Previously these automatic plan extensions were for 28 days but will now will be 365.

Participants who have plans that expire soon, do not need to do anything to have their plans automatically extended by 365 days. This means that you will no longer need to sign a new Service Agreement with Interaction if your NDIS plan has been extended

New Service Agreements will only be required if your plan has been reviewed.

If you have any questions about these changes, please contact your Coordinator directly, or call Interaction on 1300 668 123.
