We currently have a flexible part-time position (30 hours a fortnight) as a Marketing Assistant vacant at our Head Office in Bella Vista. This position is paid at level 2 under the SCHADS Award.
Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the Marketing Assistant will be a key member of the team and will work closely with staff and participants to help deliver our ongoing strategy and ensure that our communications and collateral are participant focused. This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to build on your skills and experience across a range of communications, digital and marketing functions.
Communicating internally with staff to obtain content relating to staff, our participants, their goals and any relevant newsworthy information
Develop and publish content across all social media platforms, website, and intranet.
Prepare and implement internal branding & templates
Drafting internal and external e-newsletters
Assisting in drafting grant and funding applications
Monthly reporting on digital campaigns using Google Analytics
Excellent copywriting skills to assist with developing easy-read documents
Experience in WordPress to assist in updating websites
Attendance at events, expos and photoshoots
General marketing administration tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe InDesign. Basic video editing skills would be a bonus.
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a team as well as autonomously
Current driver’s license and reliable car
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant who is proactive and can confidently take ownership over marketing tasks assigned to them. A solid understanding of digital marketing is vital. Experience in the disability sector preferred but not essential, you will however need to display a commitment to the rights of people with disability.
