Marketing Assistant

We currently have a flexible part-time position (30 hours per fortnight) as a Marketing Assistant based at our Head Office in Bella Vista.

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the Marketing Assistant will be a key member of the team and will work closely with staff and participants to help deliver our ongoing strategy. This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to build on your skills and experience across a range of marketing functions and communications channels.

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant who is proactive and can confidently take ownership over tasks assigned to them. A solid understanding of digital marketing, particularly social media, is vital.

Experience in the disability sector is preferred but not essential, you will however need to display a commitment to the rights of people with disability.

About the Role

  • Communicating internally with staff to obtain content relating to participants, their goals and any relevant newsworthy information
  • Develop and publish content across all social media platforms, website, and staff intranet
  • Prepare and implement internal branding & templates
  • Drafting internal and external e-newsletters
  • Assisting in drafting grant and funding applications
  • Monthly reporting on digital campaigns using Google Analytics
  • Experience in WordPress to assist in updating websites
  • Attendance at events, expos and photoshoots
  • General marketing administration tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe InDesign. Basic video editing skills would be a bonus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a team as well as autonomously
  • Current Driver’s Licence and comprehensively owned and insured vehicle;
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain prior to commencement of employment.

Remuneration

Interaction offers an attractive remuneration package, with Salary Packaging options available to the successful applicants. This position is paid at a Level 2 under the SCHADS Award.
