Support Workers – Various Locations

We currently have a number of opportunities available at Interaction. The aim of these roles is to support people with disabilities, and to assist them to live independent and productive lives. We are currently looking for supportive, reliable, highly motivated Support Workers to work alongside our clients who have a range of differing needs.

About You

  • Experience supporting people with Intellectual Disability or other relevant experience
  • Resilience to episodes of challenging behaviours
  • A willingness to complete personal care tasks such as showering and toileting when required
  • Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively within a team
  • Flexibility to work across a range of shifts including weekday, evening, weekends and public holidays
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills with capability to use client database systems and liaise with coordinators via email and Microsoft Teams

Compliance requirements

  • Current First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain before commencement and will maintain this throughout your employment
  • Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check or willing to obtain before commencement and will maintain this throughout your employment
  • Up to date COVID Vaccination Requirements as mandated by NSW Health
  • A current driver’s licence and a reliable insured vehicle
  • Australian Citizenship, permanent residency or working rights in Australia
