Casual Support Workers – Various Locations

About the Opportunity
We currently have a number of casual opportunities available at Interaction. The aim of these roles is to support people with disabilities, and to assist them to live independent and productive lives. We are currently looking for supportive, reliable, highly motivated Support Workers to work alongside our clients who have a range of differing needs.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in supporting people with Intellectual Disability (ID) or other relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated resilience to episodes of challenging behaviour
  • Willingness to work across a range of shifts including split shifts, weekends/public holidays & sleepover shifts
  • Willingness to complete personal care such as assisting in showering and toileting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate with capability in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and other related software
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a team as well as autonomously
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one before the commencement of employment
  • Current driver’s licence and a reliable insured vehicle
  • Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check or willing to obtain one before commencement of employment
