Support Workers – Narara

We currently have four permanent part-time positions, 52.5hours, 54hours, 58.5hours and 55hours per fortnight, vacant in one of our high support houses in Narara.

We are looking for a supportive, reliable, highly motivated and energetic Support Workers to work with three young gentlemen with Prader Willi Syndrome.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in supporting people with Intellectual Disability (ID) and/or other relevant industry experience,
  • Demonstrated resilience to episodes of challenging behaviour,
  • Willingness to work across a range of shifts including split shifts, weekends/public holidays, sleepover and active wake shifts,
  • Willingness to complete personal care such as assisting in showering and toileting,
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a team as well as autonomously,
  • Computer literate with capability in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and other related software,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one before the commencement of employment,
  • Current driver’s licence and a reliable insured vehicle,
  • Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check or willing to obtain one before commencement of employment.
