We currently have four permanent part-time positions, 52.5hours, 54hours, 58.5hours and 55hours per fortnight, vacant in one of our high support houses in Narara.
We are looking for a supportive, reliable, highly motivated and energetic Support Workers to work with three young gentlemen with Prader Willi Syndrome.
What we are looking for:
Experience in supporting people with Intellectual Disability (ID) and/or other relevant industry experience,
Demonstrated resilience to episodes of challenging behaviour,
Willingness to work across a range of shifts including split shifts, weekends/public holidays, sleepover and active wake shifts,
Willingness to complete personal care such as assisting in showering and toileting,
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a team as well as autonomously,
Computer literate with capability in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and other related software,
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one before the commencement of employment,
Current driver’s licence and a reliable insured vehicle,
Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check or willing to obtain one before commencement of employment.
