We currently have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Advisor to join our People & Culture team in our Head Office located in Bella Vista. This a full-time role functioning under Human Resources for someone looking to grow in their profession of Human Resources. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of HR generalist functions.
Responsibility will include but are not limited to:
Compliance and record keeping of Employee Files
Assist with Performance Management Procedures
Produce & submit reports on general HR activity and functions
Assist in Learning Development initiatives and training opportunities
Coordinate, conduct and monitor the orientation process for new hires
Full functioning Employee Life Cycle management including completion of termination paperwork
Coordination of the recruitment process including conducting probity checks and issuing employee contracts
Be an active and contributing HR team member, collaborating across HR and other areas of business to share insights, knowledge and resources
What we are looking for:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field
Effective HR administration and people management skills
Ability the work autonomously as well as a member of a team
Ability to maintain digital and electronic records of the organisation and its employees
Highly computer literate with capability in MS outlook, word, excel and other related software
Demonstrated professionalism and judgment when handling confidential and sensitive matters
A strong work ethic and high attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively, works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
Well developed interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across and external to the organisation
Current knowledge of National Employment Standards, Fair Work Act and other relevant legislation
