About the Role
We currently have several casual opportunities available at Interaction working 1:1 with participants supporting with community participation and daily activities.
Empower participants to achieve their chosen goals
Work with participants and their family in community
Support participants with their daily activities and personal care
Represent Interaction in the community by demonstrating our core values; Integrity, Respect, Openness, Person-centred, Life-long learning.
You have experience supporting people with Intellectual Disability or other relevant experience
You have resilience to episodes of challenging behaviours
You have willingness to complete personal care tasks such as showering and toileting when required
You can work autonomously and cooperatively within a team
You have flexibility to work across a range of shifts including weekday, evening, weekends and public holidays
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
You have strong computer skills with capability to use client database systems and liaise with coordinators via email and Microsoft Teams
You have a current First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain before commencement and will maintain this throughout your employment
You have a valid NDIS Workers Screening Check or willing to obtain before commencement and will maintain this throughout your employment
You have up to date COVID Vaccination Requirements as mandated by NSW Health
You have a current driver’s licence and a reliable insured vehicle
You have Australian Citizenship, permanent residency or working rights in Australia
